O’Donnellan & Co. Architects was established in 1983 by the principal Rory O’Donnellan B.Arch. M.R.I.A.I. Based in Galway City the practice, since it’s inception has carried out a wide range of projects for public, private and institutional clients, with particular emphasis on commercial/residential developments. Rory O’Donnellan is also accredited by the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland to work on local protected structures.

While the majority of projects carried out are located in Galway city and its environs the practice has also carried out works in neighbouring counties of Mayo, Clare and Roscommon. Over the years the practice has gained a reputation for its design and management skills, including liaising with Statutory Authorities and as leader of the design team involved in various projects.
